Colorado Staffing Firm One of 36 U.S. Companies Chosen for Defense Health Agency $7.5B Healthcare Staffing Contract
Denver-based Matrix Providers will bid on right to place healthcare workers in government treatment facilities throughout the United States
February 23, 2018, Denver, Colo. — Denver-based staffing firm Matrix Providers was selected by the Defense Health Agency (DHA) as one of 36 staffing companies for a five-year, $7.5 billion contract to provide healthcare workers at U.S. territory military treatment facilities. The contract ordering period is through October 22, 2022 for work that will take place through 2027.
This is a multiple award contract, which means that a limited number of awardee companies will compete among each other on performance and price to win work under the contract.
DHA offered the contract through a Request for Proposal (RFP) process to small businesses. The 36 small business awardees will provide physicians, nurses, dental and other healthcare workers to support medical care at Army, Navy, Air Force and other DHA military treatment facilities (MTFs) in all 50 states, as well as Washington, D.C., Guam and Puerto Rico throughout the contract duration.
“Matrix Providers already has a presence in 77 percent of the 211 locations that may require services under the contract,” said Dr. Bill Rivard, CEO and founder of Matrix Providers. “We encourage job seekers to frequently visit our website and view our current job openings. We are proud to offer our healthcare workers the opportunity for seamless accessibility or transition to career opportunities throughout the country under the new DHA contract.”
