Matrix Providers Wins Government Estimated $347 Million Navy Northeast Medical MATO Contract

Matrix Providers to provide healthcare workers at Navy hospitals and clinics in the Northeast and Southeast through 2023

June 11, 2018, Denver, Colo. — Matrix Providers has been selected as one of 14 awardees eligible to complete medical staffing task orders for the Navy's Northeast Region over the next five years. The Northeast contract is a portion of a government-estimated $347 million the Navy anticipates spending across the U.S. on medical staffing services that will be provided by multiple awardees.

Matrix Providers, who was recently awarded the same Navy contract for the Southeast, is currently in various stages of near-finalization of three additional defense medical staffing contracts. Additionally, the company was awarded a position as a prime contractor eligible to bid on physician, nurse, ancillary and dental task orders released under the Defense Health Agency’s new Medical Q-Coded Services contract.

"For more than seven years, Matrix Providers has provided high-caliber medical health care workers under multiple contracts, and those workers have treated the needs of our Navy personnel and beneficiaries," said Dr. Bill Rivard, CEO and founder of Matrix Providers and an Army veteran himself.

"We are committed to improving the supply of the best Navy MATOs cover seven market segments each: of Physician, Allied Health, Advanced Practice Nursing, Nursing, Technologist, Technician, and Assistant labor bands to support the Navy’s needs and that of our nation’s deserving military, family and veteran beneficiaries.”
