Matrix Providers is hiring a Psychologist to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our Military Service Members and their families in McConnell AFB, KS.
Employment Status: Full-time
Compensation: This is a salaried position. In addition to salary, we are also offering a $5,000 relocation and $5,000 sign on bonus for approved candidate.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 5pm

Requirements: The Psychologist must have and meet the following:
Degree: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
Education: Graduate from an American Psychology Association-accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
Internship/Residency: Successful completion of an internship in psychology
accredited by the American Psychological Association.Experience: 24 months of experience within the last 36 months as a licensed clinical psychologist.
Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or US Virgin Islands.
Job Summary:
Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges.
Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews,
psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate.Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders.
Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries.
Assist in the rehabilitation of patients.
Attends and participates in meetings during normal duty hours and professional staff conferences and other appropriate professional activities such as, but not limited to the following: professional staff meetings, Commander's staff meetings, Mental Health Flight meetings, and others required by applicable regulations, MTF guidance, or as directed by the Mental Health Flight Commander or his/her designated representative.
Provider is responsible for and applies psychological procedures and techniques, including interviewing, behavioral assessment, evidenced-based therapies, and psychological testing/psychodiagnostic testing, in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological and neuropsychological disorders
Experienced and competent in at least one of three posttraumatic stress disorder treatment modalities: cognitive processing therapy (CPT), prolonged exposure (PE) or eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).
Consults with medical personnel, legal authorities and military commanders, as required.
Maintains accurate and current notes in electronic medical record system.
Participates in military specific training (e.g., training to perform Command Directed Evaluations, security clearances, Military Training Instructor clearances, pre-post deployment screening).
